Hi, I’m Kaytlyn!

I’m a UX/UI designer based in Utah.

Before my UX journey began, I earned a degree in Neuroscience and had aspirations to make a difference in the world and in the lives of others. At the same time, I also had a deep passion for the arts and wanted to find a way to include that into my career. When I discovered UX design, it felt like everything fell into place. It’s the ideal field to combine my knowledge of the brain and human behavior with my love of design.

Studying neuroscience taught me all about the biological and psychological processes that drive human behavior. When I first ventured into UX, I found myself leaning on this knowledge to help me understand user needs and goals on a deeper level. My studies also emphasized the importance of empathy- which is a crucial concept in UX.

What I love about UX design is how imaginative and creative it is, and how designers are encouraged to be open-minded when approaching problems. This mindset has helped me to create and explore innovative solutions that exceed users’ expectations, bring them delight, and make them eager to return.

When I’m not designing, I enjoy baking, playing the guitar, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.

Before discovering UX design, I earned a degree in Neuroscience, driven by a passion for helping others and making a meaningful impact. UX became the perfect intersection of science and creativity—a field where I could apply my knowledge of the brain to design intuitive, human-centered experiences.

Neuroscience taught me the biological and psychological processes that drive human behavior, which naturally shaped my approach to UX. It also reinforced the power of empathy—an essential part of creating meaningful user experiences.

What I love most about UX is its creativity and open-minded problem-solving, allowing me to craft innovative solutions that delight users and keep them coming back.

When I’m not designing, I enjoy baking, playing the guitar, reading, and spending time with my loved ones.
